Recovery is part of training, but there is no one routine that works for everyone. Workload, sleep, schedule, health and training experience all matter. A useful plan is flexible enough to change when circumstances do.
Review the week
Look at how many demanding sessions you have planned and where lighter activity or rest could fit. If every session is hard, consider changing the mix rather than adding another recovery product or treatment.
Use ordinary habits first
Regular sleep opportunities, meals that suit your training and enough fluids for the conditions are useful foundations. You do not need a special drink or supplement for every workout.
Respond to symptoms
Temporary muscle soreness can happen after unfamiliar or harder activity. Reduce or modify training if pain is sharp, worsening or affecting normal movement. Marked swelling or loss of function may need assessment.
